Character Breakdown

Everyone will have plenty of time to study the script before auditioning. 

Upon selection of your character please fill out the form on the next page completely. Between 24-48 hrs after registration you will receive an email with your Audition time, Audition Piece and Zoom login information. Once selections are made NDA's will be sent out to be signed virtually then shooting times will be released.  
*If you are not selected for a speaking role you are more then welcome to be one of the extras. You will be feed and taken care just like everyone else at the production. 

Caleb Samuels ​

​Caleb Samuels is a 30 year old Army Combat Veteran from Flint Michigan. He currently live in Houston,Tx and has been in Texas for 10 years. Caleb like many other veterans deals with Chronic PTSD, Depression ,Insomnia and other issues from his service in the military.  Despite receiving a 100% Disability Rating from the VA Calebs issues are still very prominent in his life.  Caleb begins to self medicate using heavy amounts of cannabis.  

Momma Samuels - V.O. Work

Momma Samuels is a God fearing woman who loves all her children very much. Caleb has a special place in her heart because he went to the military at a young age. She knows he has been through a lot and she prays for him all the time. She know he has to want Gods help and that all she can do is remind that God is there. 

Mr. Mac

Mr. Mac is a 35 - 40 year male and he is the glue in this story. He's the person who God sends to show Caleb he hears him. Mr. Mac is a VA Triage Dr and Minister who once dealt with addiction. He host a men's group for those who really want relief and he shows them how to connect with God. He is not pushy when he mets the men who God assigns but he is the definition of a Fisher of Men. He interacts with Caleb in two different ways and both have a major impact on Calebs life. 

The Neighbor

The Neighbor is key to helping Caleb when he collapses in the Front Yard. The Neighbor is the right place at God's Time to make the Call that would get Caleb to the help he needs.  

Head Nurse

The Head Nurse is a 25 year old + female who preps Caleb to receive the help and commands the situation until the Triage Doctor arrives. She has the Dr paged and it turns out to be Mr. Mac.
